Our barn was destroyed by a cyclone blizzard. We called all of the barn companies that we could find in Colorado. NOT one company answered their phone or returned our voice mails in a timely manner. Two companies called us back two months later and gave us ridiculously high quotes. I got lucky and just stumbled onto Bob McClure at National Barn while checking the internet for barn companies. I called the number on the evening of July 4th not expecting anyone to answer because it was a holiday. Bob answered the phone and said that they were closed but he was at the office doing some paper work when I called. I told him that I needed a barn built and I would call him back after the holidays. To my amazement Bob stayed on the phone and took my information. He then took the time to email me a written quote for a new barn complete with drawings, time lines to build the barn and starting dates in less than an hour. The next afternoon he did an on-site visit to my home and gave me a firm signed quote. I was so happy with his work ethics and the design of the barn that I hired him on the spot. The work crew started several weeks ahead of schedule. The workers arrived every day early and worked till late. They used top quality materials that would stand up to the harsh Colorado winds and storms to build the barn. The barn was built to code, paying attention to the smallest details. Bob did a great job on my shop and the whole experience was enjoyable from start to finish. One thing you will notice working with Bob is he is honest and communicates very well. From day one contacting him we walked through everything I wanted and he put together a quote in a timely manner. Once I had decided I was ready to go with Bob he did not tell me he could get it done right away he was honest and told me an accurate date on when we could have material and his crews would be available to do the work. The material showed up the week before the start date and his guys showed up right when he said they would. It only took a couple of weeks for Bobs crew to get my building complete and they were clean and courteous throughout the whole process. In 2020 National Barn built a four stall horse barn for us in Peyton, Colorado. National designed and constructed the basic structure including the concrete aisle, a covered “porch” over the exterior stall doors, as well as the stall interiors and stall fronts. Bob McClure of National Barn was very easy to work with during the design and construction. He recommended highly qualified subs for grading and electrical work, and used his relationship with them to assure that their work was done on a timely, high-quality basis.
